Purpose in the Unknown

Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Context Behind the Verse
How often do we find ourselves like travelers in a dense fog, able to see only the few steps immediately before us? We fret and worry about the destination, fearful of unseen obstacles and uncertain paths. Yet, here is a gracious reminder from the Divine Architect, who sees the end from the beginning. Our view is limited, but His is eternal. He is not a capricious deity playing games with our lives, but a loving Father with a meticulous plan. The “prosperity” He designs for us is not always measured in worldly wealth, but in spiritual richness and a soul anchored in Him. Let us not be dismayed by the twists and turns of life, but rather trust in the hand of the One who guides us. His plans are always for our ultimate good and His glory.
Lord, I confess my short-sightedness and my tendency to worry about the unknown. Help me to trust Thy unseen hand and to rest in the knowledge of Thy perfect plan. Lead me in Thy way, for I am Thine. Amen.
